““It was a relief to discover that Carina was willing to have all 3 of my children in the pool, at the same time.  It saved me much time & aggravation, not having them in separate lessons.  They all had different swimming abilities, which Carina was able to cater for. Her efficient & organised approach meant that they all progressed through her structured programme of awards.  Nancy, in particular, was very proud of her certificates & badges.  They also all looked forward to the fun sessions with snorkels, flippers & sweets!!  Eva enjoyed attending the Rookie Lifeguard Course.  Eva has also continued swimming competitively since leaving Blue Fish Swim School, at County, Regional & National Level.  Carina continues to enthusiastically enquire how the girls are progressing with their swimming, which is lovely!  Thank you.””

““My son started on one of Carina’s intensive swimming courses and there he progressed so quickly I signed him up for weekly lessons.  He has been going now for nearly 2 years and he has done his Bronze Rookie Lifeguard, 2/3 of his Silver and is working on his Grade 5 Water Skills.  Carina’s no-nonsense approach and small classes means the children listen and learn quickly and safely whilst also having fun - especially in the last lesson of term with the flippers!!  My son loves going every week and I’m hoping my 4 year old daughter will be starting soon.””

”Carina has been teaching swimming to my two boys for over two years and I’m very happy with their achievements. They’ve progressed from non-swimmers to being confident swimmers at a number of different strokes and with a number of different water skills. The classes are small so Carina is able to focus on each child’s personal requirements and it’s really useful being able to have both boys attend the same lesson, even though they are at slightly different standards. My boys also like the challenge of working towards their next award certificates so this helps keep them motivated to keep improving.””

”Andrew has had swimming classes with Carina for about a year. He can be quite challenging, but Carina was an excellent teacher and set up clear boundaries and individualized tasks.  I was very impressed how quickly he progressed!By the end of the school year he was able to swim a pool length. This summer we had a holiday on a boat at  The Mediterranean Sea .He was confident to jump of the boat and swim  alongside with us for short distances playing mummy/ daddy and the baby dolphin.””

““My son Matthew has been learning to swim with Carina for a year now. Matthew hated being in water, to the point of having tantrums at bath time, so I felt it would be better for him to learn to swim in a smaller group size. Due to Matthew’s lack of confidence in the water, there were many times when he didn’t want to swim at all. Carina is firm and calm with him and is able to know when to push him or back off depending on what mood he is in on the day. Even though it hasn’t been easy for Carina to get Matthew off of armbands, he is now able to swim 10 metres and he is confident in the water, making family trips to the pool a fun experience now and not an ordeal.””
